Rajneesh Bhuee is the Green Transition Minerals Fellow at APRI. She is passionate about policy and governance, gender equity, and transparency, leveraging her expertise to advocate for sustainable practices and inclusive development in Africa’s natural resource management, within the oil, gas, mining, and energy transition sectors.

Previously, she worked as the Extractives Programme Officer at Oxfam, where [they] led efforts to promote transparency and accountability, including the successful advancement of key legislative bills in Kenya, and played an instrumental role in Oxfam’s campaigns on fair taxation and played a key role in revitalizing the Haki Madini Coalition. At Tullow Oil, Rajneesh worked as a Stakeholder and Communications Advisor, building strong partnerships with government bodies, community leaders, and industry actors to align operations with community needs.

She holds an MSc in Public Policy Analysis from the London School of Economics, an MA in Communication for Development, and a BA in International Relations and Diplomacy from the United States International University - Africa. She has also completed specialized training in mining governance, carbon taxation, and climate adaptation from leading institutions.
