APRI - Africa Policy Research Institute is an independent, non-partisan African policy institute dedicated to rigorous research on the key policy issues shaping the African continent and its global relations.
Our work contributes to German and European policymaking processes on Africa while also generating policy options and analysis for African and African diaspora actors. We do this by drawing on the expertise of African scholars, intellectuals, and networks, and by working with institutions and partners across regions and disciplines.
APRI values intellectual seriousness, policy relevance, and collaboration. We are interested in colleagues who can contribute thoughtfully to research, analysis, and public engagement, while helping to build an institution that centres Africa in international policy conversations.
