Cobus van Staden is the managing editor and co-founder of the China-Global South Project, a startup tracking China’s engagement with the developing world. He is a non-resident research fellow with the US Institute of Peace and with Stellenbosch University Department of Journalism. His work focuses on Chinese messaging and public diplomacy in Africa.
