Michel Shengo was appointed in 2019 as the General Academic Secretary at the Higher School of Applied Techniques in Lubumbashi and the Deputy Manager in charge of teaching at the Higher School of Industrial Engineering at the University of Lubumbashi in the Democratic Republic of Congo. He received a PhD degree in Engineering Sciences/Mineral Processing and Recycling (2013) from the Faculty of Applied Sciences, the University of Liege (Belgium), and obtained a Masters degree in Chemical Engineering (2007) from the University of Lubumbashi. He was appointed as an Associate Professor in 2015 at the Chemistry Department (Faculty of the Sciences, University of Lubumbashi) and in 2021, he was appointed as a Full Professor.
