Marius Kretzschmar is a Mercator Fellow of International Affairs where he analyses the relationship between climate change and geopolitical risks. He gained professional experience at the German Embassy in London, the European Commission and in management consulting. He has volunteered for and led several foreign policy think tanks and projects. His academic studies have taken him from Potsdam and Beijing to London, where he obtained a Master’s degree in International Political Economy.
