Maria Ogbugo is a senior business executive with 19 years’ work experience in shipping, oil and gas regulation and banking in Ghana, West Africa. She is a respected thought leader in the maritime sector in West Africa, in the areas of coastal and short-sea shipping, equitable decarbonization of the shipping industry and infrastructure project development. She is an infrastructure development expert who is passionate about developing bankable and transformational projects to meet Africa’s infrastructure needs. Maria obtained her BA (Hons) in Economics and Geography from the University of Ghana and her MSc. (Econs) in International Business, Energy and Petroleum from the University of Aberdeen.
