Background
The evolving geopolitical landscape is enabling African governments to diversify their international partnerships. The global push for green energy transition presents new opportunities to advance Africa’s industrialisation and economic transformation. At the same time, the growing number of Africa+1 summits highlights the continent’s rising diplomatic and economic significance on the global stage. This shift, marked by the increasing influence of new diplomatic actors, is reshaping the international order and shifting global power balances.
