Olive Uwamariya (she/her) is a Pan-African feminist based in East Africa. For 15 years, she worked with international women’s rights organisations as an advocacy advisor to advance women in leadership, sexual and reproductive justice and the elimination of violence against women and girls in the Great Lakes region. Currently Olive is an independent consultant who specialises in feminist movement building; she's also an analyst and writer on global issues from an African feminist perspective. Olive is a graduate of the Catholic University of Eastern Africa (BA) and the University of Buckingham (MA).
