Prof. Geoffrey Gitau is an associate professor in entrepreneurship and innovation. He runs an E-mobility company called Ecomobilus that he co-founded in 2022 and has locally made two Electric Cargo Vehicles for the African markets. Currently, he is actively sourcing funds and supplies for the local manufacturing and assembly of the EVs and their lithium batteries, including their solar charging infrastructures. Prof Gitau holds a Bachelor’s of Education from Kenyatta University (Computer Studies & Mathematics), a Master’s degree and PhD in Entrepreneurship from Jomo Kenyatta University of Technology, an e-Masters in Communication Management from the University of Rwanda, a diploma in Information Systems IMIS-UK, a Postgraduate degree in Information Systems from Keller Graduate School (USA), and a Cisco Network Associate certification from San Diego College (USA).
