Chris Newsom is a consultant working on governance and climate issues, primarily in the Niger Delta of Nigeria. He has previously co-authored work for APRI on Nigeria’s Energy Transition, focusing on the need for policy and intervention coherence. He is presently part of a team supporting the HYPREP oil spill cleanup in the Ogoni area of Rivers state.
