Taku Fundira is a research analyst with over 15 years of expertise in quantitative economic analysis, market research, international trade and investment. His work focuses on key sectors including agriculture, energy, mining and, more recently, on technology, with a particular emphasis on the Southern and East African region. Taku has a Master's Degree from Stellenbosch University and has contributed to shaping trade discussions and policy in the SADC. He actively shares his insights as a speaker and consultant at various forums and workshops, imparting his knowledge to a wider audience.

He has held positions as a consultant for organisations like the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa Southern Africa Regional Office (ECA-SRO), Adam Smith International, World Economic Forum, and the GIZ (Botswana). His work involves providing analysis on trade and investment issues and policy frameworks, including the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) and other regional agreements.
