Explainer

The causes, impacts and risks of climate change to human societies, ecosystems and biodiversity are some of the most hotly debated issues of our time. According to the IPCC, climate change results from natural and human-induced activity. However, science has made it clear that human activity, such as the use of fossil fuels, lifestyle and production and consumption patterns, contributes to the exponential increase in greenhouse gas emissions, resulting in a warmer planet.
