Lead Researcher - Ghana
Charles is the Lead Researcher for the project in Ghana. Charles is the Policy Lead on Climate Change and Energy Transition at Ghana's Africa Centre for Energy Policy (ACEP). His research interests include risk mitigation, investment decisions on utility-scale and small-scale renewable energy technologies in Africa, and climate financing for a just transition. Beyond energy transition, he has researched Ghana's natural gas demand and supply dynamics, local participation in the oil and gas sector, local labour absorption in Ghana’s extractive industry, and gender-responsive budgeting in mining-affected communities. He holds a Master’s degree in Operations Management.
