Sören Brosch is the Director of Operations at APRI, based in the Berlin office. In his role, he oversees the organization’s internal structures and processes, driving efficiency and scalability in alignment with APRI’s mission. With a career spanning diverse industries and geographies, Sören has a proven track record in creating sustainable solutions and delivering impactful results.
Sören’s professional journey reflects a commitment to innovation and sustainability. At the Yunus Environment Hub, he served as a Policy Advisor, leading research and policy recommendations for Social Innovation projects in collaboration with the German Federal Ministry for the Environment. He has also been instrumental in helping startups and scale-ups thrive across industries, most recently advancing solar energy and large-scale battery storage developments.
His tenure at SV Group, a DACH market leader in gastronomy, saw him drive innovation and digital transformation, implementing data-driven strategies and professionalizing corporate portfolios. Sören also contributed to sustainable solutions in the NGO sector, including working with ICCO Cooperation in Uganda, where he developed the operational setup of an agribusiness accelerator, facilitating significant seed investments. He later worked with Solarkiosk Kenya, a Berlin-founded startup, building retail logistics for off-grid regions powered by solar energy. Additionally, he has played key roles in venture building, product strategy, and stakeholder management at Bridgemaker and led sustainability-focused consultancy projects as a freelance advisor.
A graduate of the Rotterdam School of Management with a Master’s in Global Business and Sustainability Management, Sören also holds a Bachelor’s in International Business from the University of Groningen and Sogang University in Seoul, South Korea.
