Jason Muyumba is project coordinator in the Executive Office at APRI. He holds a Masters degree in Economics from FAU Erlangen-Nuremberg in Germany. He also completed his Bachelors degrees in economics at the University of Johannesburg & University of Cape Town. Furthermore, Jason is also a Mandela Rhodes Scholar alumni for the class of 2021.

Prior to joining APRI Jason amassed several years of policy experience, working across several policy fields and African regions. He has worked in youth advocacy issues with the South African Institute of International Affairs (SAIIA) in South Africa and on African digital policy issues with Ugandan-based civic-tech organization Pollicy in East Africa.
