Chikamara is the Project Coordinator for the Nigeria Program at APRI – Africa Policy Research Institute. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Chester, United Kingdom. Prior to joining APRI, she carved a niche for herself in the energy sector with a focus on business and project development where she successfully managed project lifecycles from conceptualization through to execution. This phase of her career allowed her to play a significant role in diverse gas-to-power and renewable energy initiatives throughout Nigeria and Sub-Saharan Africa.

She holds a certification in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) which stemmed from her interest in sustainable development, corporate responsibility, impact investing, social equity and governance, and environmental stewardship.
