Selemani is a lawyer and development practitioner with a broad range of Africa-focused experience in policy research, strategy development, advocacy and outreach. He currently serves as Government Affairs Lead for Africa at Microsoft where he shapes Microsoft's technology policy and regulatory agenda in Africa to address complex governmental and business priorities. Selemani holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from Tumaini University, a Master of Law degree in Transnational Justice from the University of the Western Cape and an MBA from the University of Warwick.
