Ousman Gajigo is the Manager of the Microeconomic, Institutional, and Development Impact Division in the Research Department of the African Development Bank (AfDB). Before holding this position, he founded and managed an agribusiness firm and served as a consultant for some international organisations between 2015 and 2019. Before that, he worked at the World Bank and Columbia University. He holds a PhD in development economics from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. He has research experience in entrepreneurship, labour market, agricultural economics, natural resources, and economics of education.
