Background
The international system is under significant stress. Historian Adam Tooze has popularized the term “polycrisis” to describe a cascade of globally disruptive events roiling the international system. In the wake of these challenges and changes, are there new patterns of collaboration emerging between Europe and its closest neighbor, Africa? What can Europe learn from China’s engagement on the continent? How does that influence Europe’s existing partnerships with Asia, especially China?
The Event
To answer these and other questions, Global Neighbours and Berlin-based APRI – Africa Policy Research Institute are excited to jointly invite you to our Africa, Europe, China: Exploring New Horizons in Collaboration event, featuring Global Neighbours Inaugural Visiting Fellow W. Guide Moore, hosted in partnership with Europäische Akademie Berlin e.V.
This event will bring together analysts, academics, and practitioners from Africa, China, and Europe to discuss opportunities and challenges for future collaboration. The event is an invite-only event.
