Prior to joining APRI, Uchechi worked on multi-country policy and innovation initiatives across Nigeria and Africa, including supporting the implementation of the Nigeria Startup Act across five Nigerian states. She also contributed to programme coordination and the development of knowledge products on Africa's startup ecosystem and digital economy, working closely with government, development partners, and civil society organisations.

She holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the University of Abuja and a Certificate of Call to the Nigerian Bar from the Nigerian Law School. She is currently completing a Master's in International Affairs and Diplomacy at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.
