Olufolake Adegoke is a Geopolitics Intern in the Geopolitics and Geoeconomics Programme at APRI, where she supports the team with policy research, programme coordination, and administrative tasks to analyze shifts in the global geopolitical and economic landscape and their implications for governance, development, and regional cooperation across Africa.

Prior to joining APRI, Olufolake gained extensive programme and research experience across Africa. She coordinated initiatives at Doing Good Work in Africa (DOWA), conducted policy research at the African Governance Institute for Development (AGID), and contributed to procurement processes at AfriLabs. She is also a Fellow at Yiaga Africa, where she coordinates a Gen Z-led advocacy campaign focused on electoral reforms, bridging research, stakeholder engagement, and policy action.

Olufolake is currently completing a Master of Public Administration (MPA) at Miva Open University, specializing in Public Policy, while refining her interests in Political Economy and Digital Transformation. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and was previously a Global Youth Ambassador for Theirworld.
