Ikechi Okorafor-Nwosu is a Technical Assistant with the Climate Transition Programme at the Africa Policy Research Institute (APRI). In this role, he supports the programme team through policy research, programme coordination, legal advisory support, and administrative functions. His work contributes to analysing and addressing the political, financial, economic, and social dimensions of climate transition across West African countries.
Ikechi is legally trained, holding a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree and a Barrister at Law (B.L.) qualification from the Nigerian Law School. He brings a strong interdisciplinary perspective to climate and development policy, combining legal expertise with practical programme experience.
Over the years, he has supported and contributed to programmes implemented by organisations such as UK-Nigeria Infrastructure Advisory Facility (UKNAIF), SNV’s Solar Market Place, and NoMap. He has also played an active role in the planning, organisation, and coordination of projects funded by partners including GIZ and the Heinrich Böll Stiftung.
